Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing her participation in community leadership events, concerns over judicial decisions related to migrant crime, and federal investments in aviation infrastructure.
On February 7, 2026, Malliotakis shared her engagement with the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute, writing, “As a Cuban-American, I was proud to join the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) and speak with students and professionals from across the Hispanic community about legislative priorities and the work we are doing to expand opportunities for the next generation of”.
The following day, on February 8, she commented on recent criminal proceedings involving migrants in New York City. She stated, “Left wing judges & politicians continue to put foreign criminal first—’A migrant robbery crew – three of them wanted on ICE detainers – were busted after a stick-up in NYC Wednesday night but then released by a judge.'”
On February 9, Malliotakis addressed transportation policy under federal leadership: “Under @SecDuffy and @USDOT, ongoing investments in our airspace are helping modernize critical aviation infrastructure, enhance safety, and improve the reliability and efficiency of air travel nationwide.”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th congressional district since 2021 after succeeding Max Rose. She previously served in the New York State Assembly for a decade before entering Congress. Born in New York City in 1980 and residing in Staten Island, she holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
