Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, used her official social media account on October 9, 2025, to comment on national and local political issues, including former President Donald Trump’s role in Middle East diplomacy, congestion pricing in New York, and the ongoing government shutdown.
In a post on October 9, 2025, Malliotakis praised former President Trump’s efforts in the Middle East, stating, “In his first term, @POTUS Trump was the architect of the historic Abraham Accords. Now, once again, he’s bringing peaceful solutions to the Middle East — the only world leader doing so. Later that day, she criticized New York Governor Kathy Hochul and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) for their handling of congestion pricing and fare increases. Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th district in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She was born in New York City in 1980 and resides in Staten Island. Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
