Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, has recently shared updates on local initiatives and federal policy changes through her official social media account.

On January 12, 2026, Malliotakis announced the launch of a civics engagement initiative for young students: “I’m happy to kick off this year’s Presidents’ Day Essay Contest, an opportunity for local elementary school students to engage in civics and share their ideas.”

Addressing upcoming changes to tax policy, she posted on January 13, 2026: “Tax season officially begins January 26, here are some of the policies @HouseGOP enacted that will SAVE you money and put more back in your paycheck:

Later that day, Malliotakis highlighted funding efforts for law enforcement agencies: “We’re proud to continue delivering funding for @NYPDnews and @CorrectionNYC that will provide critical equipment that protects officers & strengthens public safety.”

Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th district in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She was born in New York City in 1980 and currently resides in Staten Island. Her educational background includes degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
