Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district and a Staten Island resident, has recently shared updates on property tax relief, animal welfare advocacy, and community leadership changes through her official social media account.
On December 16, 2025, Malliotakis highlighted recent legislative achievements for her constituents: “98% of Staten Island and Brooklyn taxpayers will be able to deduct their property and local income taxes because Nicole delivered SALT relief for families earning less than $500,000.”
Later that day, she addressed an ongoing animal welfare issue with a call to action directed at federal and state officials: “I wrote to @SecRollins, @SecretaryBurgum, and @AGPamBondi regarding this animal welfare issue that has garnered significant attention and support from animal lovers across the country, and I urge them to take action to save Betty.”
On December 17, 2025, Malliotakis paid tribute to Cardinal Dolan upon his retirement: “Over the years, I’ve come to know @CardinalDolan well. All who have been in his presence know what a positive, joyful, faithful individual he is. My Catholic constituents & I will miss his guidance and good humor and wish him well in his retirement.”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since 2021 after serving a decade in the New York State Assembly. She was born in New York City in 1980 and currently resides in Staten Island. Her educational background includes degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
