Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, who represents New York’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on her official account addressing local political concerns and extending holiday greetings to constituents.
On April 4, 2026, Malliotakis criticized city leadership regarding Staten Island’s treatment by city officials. She stated, “The Democrats who are running city hall, they seem to only remember Staten Island when it comes to tolls, when it comes to property taxes, and when it comes to shelters and things that we don’t want,” said Malliotakis.
The following day, April 5, she acknowledged Easter celebrations among Christian residents with a message: “Happy Easter to our Christian friends celebrating today. May your day be blessed and filled with love & joy.” Minutes later on the same day, she shared another brief post: “Great news!”
Malliotakis has served as the representative for New York’s 11th District since 2021 after replacing Max Rose. Prior to her tenure in Congress, she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
