Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, posted a series of updates on her official social media account in early November 2025, addressing local political issues, public safety, and community events.
On November 8, 2025, Malliotakis wrote: “As New York City’s only Republican voice in Washington, I will fight Zohran Mamdani’s socialist agenda but I won’t let my colleagues cut critical funding from and further hurt the taxpayers I represent who did not vote for this.”
The following day, she expressed condolences regarding a recent tragedy involving a member of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY). On November 9, 2025, she stated: “While we slept, an FDNY firefighter selflessly gave his life fighting a Brooklyn fire. We extend condolences to his family as our city mourns this painful reminder of sacrifices made by NYC’s Bravest & the uncertainty faced each time they report for duty.”
Later that same day, Malliotakis highlighted her participation in a local business event. She posted: “Nicole was happy to join the owners & staff for the grand opening of Casita, a Greek & Latin coffee shop at 1456 Richmond Road in Dongan Hills on #StatenIsland. We wish them the best!”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She is currently Staten Island’s only Republican congressional representative and succeeded Max Rose in Congress. Born in New York City in 1980 and residing in Staten Island, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
