Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th Congressional District, used her official social media account to address issues ranging from gerrymandering in New York City to law enforcement actions and the record of the Trump administration.

On January 19, 2026, Malliotakis stated, “New York’s 11th Congressional District is the ONLY competitive district in NYC and has been represented by both parties over the last decade. Gerrymandering attempts by Washington Democrats is an assault on the voters who deserve to choose their representative, not the other way”. The post highlighted concerns about redistricting efforts and their potential impact on voter representation.

The following day, on January 20, she posted about accomplishments during the Trump administration’s first year: “In our first year, @POTUS Trump & @HouseGOP delivered on multiple promises including border security, lower gas prices, economic growth and historic tax cuts.”

Later that same day, Malliotakis questioned media coverage of a recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation in Minneapolis. She wrote: “Why doesn’t the media tell you who @ICEgov picked up in Minneapolis this weekend? Among them:

Murderers with final orders of removal from 2013 and 2015.

A pervert who sodomized a 12 year old girl

A guy with 24 criminal convictions.

Thieves, drug peddlers, fraudsters”.

Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District since 2021 after defeating former Congressman Max Rose. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
