U.S. Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who serves New York’s 11th district, posted a series of statements on her official account between April 13 and April 14, 2026, addressing topics ranging from diplomatic appointments to congressional funding priorities and tax policy.
On April 13, Malliotakis expressed support for a colleague’s new diplomatic role: “Michelle will make a terrific ambassador to South Korea and I could not be happier for my friend. She was a great colleague and fellow member of @WaysandMeansGOP. Congratulations @MichelleSteelCA!”
The following day, as Congress resumed its session, she commented on ongoing budget discussions: “As Congress returns to session this week, @HouseGOP will have no choice but to fund the Department of Homeland Security on our own. Defunding Immigration Enforcement & Border Patrol as the Democrats want is simply not an option. You would think they’d feel the same as we approach” (April 14).
Later that day, Malliotakis highlighted recent tax cuts while referencing constituents in her district: “As the people in Brooklyn and Staten Island and across America file their taxes, the vast majority are either paying less or receiving more refunded to them compared to last year thanks to the tax cuts we enacted!” (April 14).
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since defeating Max Rose in 2021. Before joining Congress, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 through 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island at age 42, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
