Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, has recently addressed several issues on her official social media account, ranging from support for the U.S. Coast Guard to commentary on identification requirements in New York City and congratulations to Team USA Hockey.
On February 21, 2026, Malliotakis expressed concern over the payment of Coast Guard personnel amid political disputes in Washington. She stated: “As the rep for @USCG Sector New York, I know these brave men & women have upheld their oath to serve this country without hesitation. If @SenSchumer & @RepJeffries want to play political games, I’m hopeful @POTUS will step in to ensure our Coasties are paid as he did in past.”
The following day, on February 22, 2026, she commented on city policies regarding identification requirements: “In New York City: You needed a vaccine card to enter a restaurant. You now need multiple IDs to shovel snow. But requiring an ID to vote is ‘racist?'”
Later that same day, Malliotakis congratulated American athletes at the Winter Olympics: “Congratulations to the men & women of @TeamUSA Hockey teams on their gold medal victories at the Winter Olympics. You’ve made us proud! “
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th district since 2021 after defeating Max Rose and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 until her election to Congress. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, she holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
