The NJCU Gothic Knights, featuring former Tottenville High School standout Nick Chirelli, suffered a 20-3 defeat against the Gettysburg Bullets in an NCAA Division III baseball game held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28.
The matchup was played at Kirchhoff Field and marked their first meeting with Gettysburg this season.
Chirelli pitched 0.1 innings, allowing three earned runs and walking four batters.
The Knights are set to play their next game against Gettysburg Bullets on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 2:30 p.m. at Kirchhoff Field.
