On Tuesday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m., NJCU Gothic Knights earned a 7-6 victory over the Baruch Bearcats in their NCAA Division III baseball game, featuring former Tottenville High School standout Nick Chirelli on the mound.
The matchup, hosted at Thomas M. Gerrity Athletic Complex, marked the first meeting of the season between the two teams.
Chirelli pitched 1.2 innings, surrendering one earned run, walking one, and striking out three.
The Knights are scheduled to face Alvernia Golden Wolves at Angelica Park on Wednesday, March 18, at 3:30 p.m.
