Nicole Malliotakis, serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 11th district, recently highlighted her legislative initiatives and political observations through a series of tweets. Malliotakis, who has been in Congress since 2021 after replacing Max Rose, shared details about her efforts to expand healthcare access and enhance international security collaborations.

On April 18, 2025, Malliotakis announced, “I introduced the COMPLETE CARE Act to expand access to care for seniors and individuals struggling with depression, substance abuse, and mental illness.” This initiative aims to improve the healthcare system for those with mental health challenges and the elderly.

Later that same day, she shared news on her bipartisan policy efforts, saying, “ICYMI: I introduced bipartisan legislation to establish a security-focused ‘3+1’ framework between the United States, Israel, Greece, and the Republic of Cyprus to enhance counterterrorism and maritime security cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean region.” This proposal seeks to strengthen international security alliances to address terrorism and secure vital maritime areas.

On April 19, 2025, Malliotakis commented on a notable contrast between political figures’ concerns, retweeting, “While Democrat US Senator Chris Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador to meet with a deported illegal immigrant, President Trump met with a mother from Van Hollen’s state of Maryland whose daughter was killed by an illegal immigrant.” The message underscores differing political priorities concerning immigration issues.

Nicole Malliotakis, 42, was born in New York City, currently resides in Staten Island, and is an alumna of Seton Hall University and Wagner College. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021.
