Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, has recently highlighted legislative achievements and community recognitions in a series of social media posts.
On February 17, 2026, Malliotakis announced the passage of her legislation aimed at providing tax relief for seniors: “Nicole’s legislation that became law creates a new deduction so taxes paid on Social Security benefits will be returned to 51 million seniors with incomes of less than $75,000 or $150,000 if married.” The law targets individuals and couples below specified income thresholds.
Later that same day, she acknowledged local military leadership: “We congratulate Staten Island native Capt. David Martin as he has taken command of the 1501st Quartermaster Company (Field Feeding) of the New York Army National Guard. He now leads more than 200 Soldiers supporting deployments and emergency operations statewide. We are proud of” The message recognizes Captain Martin’s new role overseeing over 200 soldiers across New York.
On February 18, Malliotakis addressed fiscal policy in New York City through an op-ed referenced in her tweet: “ICYMI- In Nicole’s latest op-ed, she writes that instead of increasing NYC’s budget & hiking taxes, Mayor Mamdani should stop the city’s ‘drunken sailor’ spending & start respecting taxpayers.”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th district since 2021 after succeeding Max Rose. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021.
