Nicole Malliotakis, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 11th district, has been actively involved in legislative discussions surrounding economic rehabilitation and strategic partnerships. Her recent social media updates highlight her efforts and focus on economic resilience, international collaboration, and community infrastructure improvements.
On May 1, 2025, Malliotakis discussed a new bill which she claims will “help economically distressed zones rehabilitate, job create and establish a resilient domestic supply chain so we aren’t reliant on China for our medicine.” She emphasized that this initiative would serve as a comprehensive benefit, marking it as a “win-win-win.”
The following day, on May 2, she partnered with Congressman Mike Lawler to affirm the strategic partnership between the United States, Greece, Cyprus, and Israel. Malliotakis underlined the significance of the ‘3+1’ framework, stating it as being crucial “for confronting today’s pressing threats & building a stable future.”
On the same day, she met with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to discuss the progress and future plans for community infrastructure projects in her district. This includes “the ongoing Phase 1 work for the Staten Island East Shore Seawall, upcoming dredging and other critical resiliency and remediation projects for our community.”
Nicole Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District since 2021, following her tenure in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born and raised in New York City, Malliotakis resides in Staten Island.
