On June 5, 2025, Nicole Malliotakis highlighted a visit alongside Rep. Lalota to celebrate the Marine Engineers Beneficial Association’s 150th anniversary. She expressed pride in representing many of their union members working on the Staten Island Ferry. “I’m proud to represent so many of their union members who work on the Staten Island Ferry!”
In a post dated June 6, 2025, Malliotakis addressed fiscal policies by stating that significant savings could be achieved over the next decade by eliminating wasteful spending and fraud. She contrasted this approach with what she perceives as Democratic efforts to protect fraudsters while emphasizing the House GOP’s commitment to supporting hardworking Americans, middle-class families, and senior citizens. “We can save a trillion dollars over the next 10 years by rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse.”
Later that day, she reported meeting with Timothy Graham from the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System for updates on renovations and expansions at the Brooklyn hospital. She expressed pride in securing additional funding for veterans’ services. “I’m proud to have delivered additional funding to Veterans.”
Malliotakis has been serving in Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021 and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021.
