U.S. Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who serves New York’s 11th district and has held her congressional seat since 2021, recently used her social media platform to address government funding decisions, community engagement, and the status of federal workers.

I voted YES to fund the government because I did not want it to come to this!”
The following day, November 1, 2025, she posted about her participation in a local event: “Happy to join members of Staten Island’s Liberian community today for a town hall & positive discussion on public safety, immigration & foreign policy.”
Later that same day, Malliotakis addressed concerns regarding federal workers’ compensation during a period of political uncertainty. She stated: “Our 13,000 air traffic controllers have been working long hours without pay. With the holiday season about to begin, we need @SenSchumer & @SenateDems to listen to the multiple unions representing federal workers telling them to vote for the clean extension passed by the House to”
Malliotakis represents New York’s 11th district after replacing Max Rose in 2021 and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 through 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, she holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
