U.S. Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who represents New York’s 11th district in Congress, posted a series of tweets on March 13, 2026, criticizing local and national officials regarding crime and funding for federal agencies.
In her first tweet of the day, Malliotakis stated: “Deported 4x, had 15 prior arrests and he was residing in a NYC shelter at taxpayer expense. This is who Mamdani, Hochul, Schumer & Jeffries have gone out of their way to protect.” (March 13, 2026)
Later that day, she commented on funding issues affecting federal personnel: “Our @USCG, @TSA and other @DHSgov personnel missed their second paycheck today as @SenSchumer refuses to fund the agency tasked with counterterrorism & cybersecurity, while ISIS inspired threats are on the rise. @HouseGOP” (March 13, 2026)
She also reiterated concerns about a specific criminal case involving public safety: “The individual accused of pushing two innocent people, including an 83-year-old veteran, onto subway tracks had previously been deported four times, had 15 prior arrests, and was residing in a NYC shelter at taxpayer expense. This is who @NYCMayor, @GovKathyHochul, @SenSchumer,” (March 13, 2026)
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th congressional district since replacing Max Rose in January 2021. Before her election to Congress she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 through early 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island at age forty-two, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
