Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 11th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on her official social media account on February 18, 2026, addressing local governance, educational policy, and extending greetings to constituents observing Ramadan.
In a post published at 13:53 UTC, Malliotakis criticized New York City leadership by stating: “Instead of further treating New York taxpayers like ATMs and driving out more families from our city, Mayor Mamdani should cut the bloat, slash the waste, and abandon the Marxism and misguided policies he has planned.” (February 18, 2026).
Later that day at 16:02 UTC, she addressed her district’s Muslim community with a message for Ramadan: “Ramadan Mubarak to all those observing in our district and throughout the country. We wish you a blessed and peaceful month filled with reflection, peace, and many blessings for you and your loved ones.” (February 18, 2026).
At 18:20 UTC on the same day, Malliotakis commented on education policy in New York State. She wrote: “No governor should deprive students of educational opportunities. @GovKathyHochul should opt in so more scholarships to private & parochial schools are available to New York’s students.” (February 18, 2026).
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since defeating Max Rose in the November 2020 election. Prior to her congressional service beginning in January 2021, she served as a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 through early 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island at age forty-two, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
