Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 11th district, has recently taken to social media to voice her concerns about public safety and city management under Democratic leadership.
On February 1, 2026, Malliotakis criticized the release of criminal undocumented immigrants by left-wing officials, stating: “When left-wing politicians & judges release criminal illegal immigrants onto our streets, @ICEgov needs to go into communities to find them, making it less safe for both officers & the public.”
Later that day, she commented on municipal waste management and fiscal priorities: “They say there’s no Republican or Democrat way to pick up the garbage. But the socialist way is to let it pile up & spend that money on free giveaways instead. This is what you call the ‘warmth of collectivism’ and it stinks!” (February 1, 2026).
On February 2, 2026, Malliotakis referenced recent history regarding migrant activity in New York City: “Everyone can remember how just one year ago, migrant gangs wreaked havoc on our streets and migrant shelters and encampments were disrupting quality of life in residential communities. The Democrats pushing to ‘Defund the Police” & “Abolish ICE” want that to return.”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving a decade in the New York State Assembly. She was born in New York City in 1980 and resides in Staten Island. Her educational background includes degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
