Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 11th district since 2021, posted a series of tweets on February 5 and 6, 2026, addressing issues ranging from antisemitic hate crimes to political disagreements over federal funding.

On February 5, Malliotakis wrote: “It’s no coincidence that antisemitic hate crimes are up 182% since Mayor Mamdani has taken office. We will always stand with our Jewish community, condemn antisemitism & push for the prosecution of those who perpetrate it.”

Later that day, she commented on the state’s governance: “All blue and New York is the worst in the country. Congrats @GovKathyHochul”.

On February 6, Malliotakis criticized two fellow New Yorkers in Congress for their stance on Department of Homeland Security funding: “It’s unconscionable that, with all the events planned for America’s 250th Anniversary, two New Yorkers—@SenSchumer & @RepJeffries —would play politics with @DHSgov funding—as we approach the 25th Anniversary of September 11th.”

Malliotakis has represented Staten Island and parts of southern Brooklyn in Congress since defeating Max Rose in 2021. She previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021 and was born in New York City in 1980. She holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
