Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 11th district since 2021, recently posted a series of statements on her official account addressing Greek Independence Day celebrations and immigration policy concerns.
On March 26, 2026, Malliotakis shared her participation in an event at the White House, stating: “It was great to have Assemblyman @MikeTannousis in Washington today as we celebrated Greek Independence Day with @POTUS Trump at the White House.”
The following day, March 27, she commented on a discussion with Senator Schumer regarding immigration enforcement: “Nicole and @RepMikeLawler gave Schumer an earful yesterday about the deadly consequences of his political games with ICE & Homeland Security.”
Later that same day, Malliotakis highlighted concerns over criminal justice and immigration policies by posting: “Deported 4x and on NYC streets despite 15 prior arrests. This is the deadly consequences of open borders, bail reform & sanctuary laws—policies pushed by Democrats at the federal, state & city level.”
Malliotakis has served in Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021. Before her tenure in Congress, she represented Staten Island and Brooklyn in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
