Nicole Malliotakis, serving in the U.S. Congress for New York’s 11th district since 2021, shared a series of updates via her office’s social media account. These posts reflect her engagement with community events and pressing issues.

On June 1, 2025, Malliotakis’ office expressed their honor in participating in a memorial event on Staten Island. The occasion was dedicated to Army Staff Sergeant Michael H. Ollis, where a memorial stone was unveiled in his name. “Our office was honored to join the Staten Island community in remembering Army SSG Michael H. Ollis and unveiling a memorial stone in his name.” They extended gratitude towards the Ollis family and those involved in making the tribute possible.

The following day, June 2, 2025, she addressed an incident impacting the Jewish community worldwide during Shavuot celebrations. Her post condemned an act of terrorism that occurred during this time. “As Jews throughout the world gather for Shavuot, we are horrified by this terrorist attack.” She thanked law enforcement for their prompt response and wished for the quick recovery of those injured.

Later on June 2nd, Malliotakis welcomed students nominated to attend military academies across the nation. She acknowledged these individuals as future leaders of America and expressed pride in their achievements. “Today we welcomed these exceptional students we nominated to attend our nation’s military academies.”

Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District since succeeding Max Rose in 2021 and previously served a decade-long tenure at the New York State Assembly.
