Nicole Malliotakis, a current U.S. Congress member representing New York’s 11th district, has been active on social media discussing various issues pertinent to her constituents and broader national concerns. Her recent tweets address topics ranging from government spending and antisemitism to immigration policies.
On May 7, 2025, Malliotakis expressed her views on financial management in government by stating that eliminating fraud and wasteful spending can lead to savings for taxpayers. She emphasized that “middle-class families across the country will benefit when we get this job done!”
Later the same day, she shared her experience welcoming Rabbi and Rebbetzin Sussman to Washington. The couple joined other religious leaders in urging Congress to increase efforts against antisemitism. Malliotakis remarked on their visit by tweeting, “It was great to welcome Rabbi & Rebbetzin Sussman…to call on Congress to take more action against antisemitism…”
In another tweet from May 7, Malliotakis criticized New York Democrats’ handling of migrant issues. She accused them of allowing unvetted migrants to commit crimes without facing consequences and mentioned the costs associated with housing them in luxury hotels. She stated that “@POTUS & Republicans are working to end the madness!” by addressing these concerns.
Malliotakis has served in the U.S. Congress since 2021 after replacing Max Rose. Prior to this role, she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 until 2021.
