On Friday, March 28, three former St. Peter’s Boys’ High School standouts, including Julian Velazquez, Matt Zguro and Nick Chiaia’s current college team, the Iona Gaels, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rider Broncs.
The game took place at City Park Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Broncs this season.
The Gaels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at City Park Stadium against Rider Broncs.
