Chris Laieta, a former baseball standout at St. Peter’s Boys’ High School, helped power the Felician Golden Falcons to an 11-1 victory over the Lincoln Lions in an NCAA Division II baseball contest played at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 17.
LU Baseball Complex hosted the matchup, marking their third meeting against Lincoln this season. The Golden Falcons previously posted a 4-2 win against the Lions on Wednesday, March 11.
In the game, Laieta pitched four innings, allowing one earned run while tallying two walks and three strikeouts.
The Golden Falcons are set to face Goldey-Beacom Lightning at Breslin Field for their next contest, scheduled for Sunday, March 22, at 12 p.m.
