Former Monsignor Farrell High School standout Tyler Gaetano played for Fairleigh Dickinson as the Devils narrowly lost 9-8 to the TCNJ Lions in an NCAA Division III baseball matchup on Sunday, March 8, at 1 p.m.
The contest at George Ackerman Park marked the third meeting between the Devils and Lions this season. In the previous day’s game on Saturday, March 7, Fairleigh Dickinson was defeated 8-5.
Gaetano gave up one earned run in 2.1 innings on the mound, with three strikeouts and one walk.
Up next, the Devils face Montclair State Redhawks at Yogi Berra Stadium on Tuesday, March 10, at 3 p.m.
