Elizabeth Bennett, a junior forward and former St. Joseph Hill Academy High School player, contributed as the Scranton Lady Royals secured a 76-59 win over the Bates Bobcats in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The matchup, which began at 7 p.m. at John Long Center, marked the Scranton Lady Royals’ first meeting with the Bates Bobcats in tournament play.
The Lady Royals are scheduled to play their next game on Saturday, March 14 at 8:30 p.m. at John Long Center.
