Elizabeth Bennett, a former St. Joseph Hill Academy High School standout, and her collegiate team, the Scranton Lady Royals, secured a 67-42 win over the Concordia Moorhead Cobbers on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest, which began at 8:30 p.m., was the teams’ first meeting in the tournament and was held at John Long Center.
The Scranton Lady Royals are set to play next on Thursday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Cregger Center.
