On Thursday, March 19, Elizabeth Bennett, a former St. Joseph Hill Academy High School basketball standout, aided her collegiate team, the Scranton Lady Royals, to a 60-52 victory over the NYU Violets in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
The contest was held at the Cregger Center at 7:30 p.m.
Bennett totaled 10 points, seven rebounds and one block in 21 minutes of play.
The Scranton Lady Royals are scheduled for their next matchup at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Cregger Center.
