The College of Staten Island CUNY maintained its in-state tuition fees for the 2022-23 school year, as revealed in the latest report, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.
New York residents paid $7,490 to attend the public four-year institution in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.
Non-resident students faced tuition costs 106.1% higher than those of residents in 2022-23, amounting to $15,440. This figure remained unchanged from the previous 2021-22 academic year.
Approximately 91% of the undergraduate student body at the college consists of New York residents.
Data indicates that 83% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at the College of Staten Island CUNY in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. A total of 1,474 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $12 million, while 206 students borrowed more than $1.4 million in student loans.
Across all undergraduate students, 6,367 individuals utilized grants or scholarships totaling $48.1 million. Additionally, 1,027 students took out federal student loans totaling $5.8 million.
